Biggest Games : While we’re already in the middle of 2020, there are still plenty of big games coming out in the next year or so. Some of them are Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, God of War: Ragnarok, Chrono Odyssey, and the House of the Dead Remake. But which ones are the most exciting? We take a look at a few to find out!
Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 in Biggest Games
A new video game sequel to the acclaimed The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Woods is currently in development by Nintendo. While it is still unclear what the name of this sequel will be, it is expected to be the twentieth mainline installment of the series. It is slated for a spring 2023 release. It is unclear what will be in the game, but it is likely to be a new adventure game, with a new setting and storylines.
The game is slated to launch in the spring of 2023, one year after the original. It’s unclear how long the delay will be, but it will be darker and will likely feature a resurrected Ganondorf. Some rumours have it that Breath of the Wild 2 will feature Twili, the shadow people from the first game, and the descendants of Hylians.
God of War: Ragnarok in Biggest Games
The PlayStation Showcase trailer for God of War: Ragnarok received more views than any other video game released in the Showcase. All other trailers have a multi-million-hit total, but Ragnarok’s video topped the charts with 12 million views! That’s an incredible feat. So what made God of War: Ragnarok the biggest games of 2022?
The big release of 2022 came with a lot of hype and expectations. According to the PlayStation blog, the game sold more than five million copies in its first day of release. Many fans viewed it as the biggest games of 2022. However, Sony’s State of Play of February 2021 didn’t mention the game by name. Still, gamers couldn’t resist checking out the game trailer and getting excited about the upcoming title.
Chrono Odyssey
Previously known as Project S, Chrono Odyssey is a fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game that visualizes the history of a special organization called Idraiginn, which has fought a war against 12 gods. The game’s immersive story, realistic graphics, and job systems are all a part of its appeal, as are its excellent combat actions. The game’s soundtrack is composed by Cris Velasco.
The game also features stunning graphics and a configurator. It can be downloaded on almost any laptop, which makes it a great game for laptop users. Furthermore, its realistic, vibrant, and diverse sound system is another draw to gamers. It is expected to become one of the most popular PC games of the next decade. While the game is currently in development, it is anticipated to be released in 2022.
House of the Dead Remake in Biggest Games
It’s hard to believe that Sega’s House of the Dead Remake was one of 2022’s biggest games. While MegaPixel Studio did a decent job with its Panzer Dragoon remake, the team is tackling the lightgun-focused zombie game in a similar fashion. While the Switch version won’t feature a lightgun, the game’s combat system still feels familiar.
The remake will release for Nintendo Switch on April 7, 2022, and people can preorder a digital copy for the console starting March 31. The game’s new trailer reveals more details about the gameplay, including the ability to play multiplayer and cooperatively. The game isn’t the first zombie-themed game to come to Nintendo’s console. It’s a remake of the popular 1996 arcade shooter, which was a pioneer in zombie horror and grindhouse schlock.
Metal Slug Tactics in Biggest Games
The acquisitions in 2022 were massive for all genres of games, but none was more impressive than Metal Slug Tactics. Among them are Metal Gear Tactics, Shady Part of Me, and Douze-Dixiemes. While Focus Home Interactive acquired the first two games, Dotemu picked up the other two games. While Metal Gear Tactics was the biggest games of last year, it fell short in the popularity category.
Metal Slug Tactics, a tactical RPG shoot-em-up, was announced at E3 2021. It was then mentioned again in Nintendo Direct, an online stream for all the upcoming indie games on the Nintendo Switch. Metal Slug Tactics has a unique storyline, which isn’t found in the run-and-gun Metal Slug series.
